Makkipak bubble bags are made from high quality 70mu bubble wrap with at least 30% recycled content. Unlike bubble wrap sheets and rolls, bubble bags are ready to use and require no cutting, folding, or taping. Products can simply be inserted and sealed, saving both time and labour. Our bespoke service reduces waste further and minimum orders will be lower than you think!
They are available in various sizes, grades and sealing options, making them suitable for a wide range of products. The double laminated grade provides even further protection for heavy or fragile items.
The real difference with these bags is that they will degrade in landfill at a significantly quicker rate than conventional bubble bags.
The polyethylene used in these bags is much easier to break down than commercial grades which have polymers with a higher molecular weight and, therefore, very resistant to direct microbial attack.
Do not contain heavy toxic metals.
The oxo-biodegradable bubble used in these bags is not a perfect solution but certainly a step in the right direction in reducing waste for future generations.
Waste material is only truly ‘eco friendly’ when it is recycled responsibly. This material must still be recycled and should never enter landfill or river systems.
