The real difference with these bags is that they will degrade in landfill at a significantly quicker rate than conventional bubble bags as they promote the growth of microbial colonies.
The polyethylene used in these bags is much easier to break down than commercial grades which have polymers with a higher molecular weight and, therefore, very resistant to direct microbial attack.

The oxo-biodegradable bubble used in these bags is not a perfect solution but certainly a step in the right direction in reducing waste for future generations.

Makkipak supplies a range of general purpose tapes. Low noise tape is ideal for confined packing areas where the constant noise of tape can be an irritation. Our best quality tape . Ideal for heavy duty applications. If you have heavy objects to pack in double wall boxes then the Makkipak vinyl tape will offer the best seal. It is thicker than our other tapes (32 mu ) and has long lasting adhesion. Suitable for temperatures -25°C to +50°C . Vinyl tape is also available in 75mm which provides even greater strength and covers a larger surface area.
